Sunset PlayWe are the owners of Villa Oceana and this picture is on our beach at a sunset wedding. We live in central PA and we found our house when we were vacationing for the first time on the island with our families and fell in love with Sapodilla Bay!

It was a dream of all of ours to own a Caribbean beachfront villa, so when we saw this house for sale during our vacation we called the realtor and saw it that same day. Now it's hard to travel to other beaches because we compare every beach to Sapodilla Bay. It's just amazing, you have to truly see it to believe it!!

The photos were nice, but truly did not do this place justice! The home was bigger than we had pictured and the layout was great. It was great for our kids as well. They could swim in the ocean, run back up to the house and jump in the pool and back to the ocean. So relaxing and most of the time we felt we had a private beach. If there were 2 other groups on the beach, that was a lot! The sand was so soft and the ocean was absolutely beautiful and crystal clear. No coral or rocks or sea urchins! We were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurants on the island were excellent (though expensive, as most islands are). Shark Bite was incredible bar food and the kids loved it because we actually saw sharks swimming by. Our favorite restaurant was Coyaba. High end, but great food and a great wine list. But we actually had our best meals at the house when we just threw some steaks on the grill and lounged in our swimsuits while they were cooking!

Villa Oceana Unparalleled

Why would anyone stay in a resort when they could have their own slice of paradise right down the road? That's what we found at Villa Oceana on Sapodilla Bay in the Turks and Caicos. A beautiful, modern, fullly equipped, private villa right on one of the most serene and kid-friendly beaches in the Caribbean, Villa Oceana is unparalleled. The beach is incredibly gorgeous. The pool is perfect. The villa is bright and roomy inside, with comfortable beds in the bedrooms, TV's with DVR's for night time movie watching, a fully equipped kitchen, a great poolside grill, a great sound system that plays inside and out, and even two sea kayaks for your personal enjoyment in the calm and spacious bay. The master bedroom has a sliding glass door that opens to a private little patio, and you can see the water from the bed, what a great vista to wake up to. The price is extremely competitive, especially when you compare it to the resorts. Three couples could stay there very comfortably, each would have their own bathroom, and the huge dining room table would accomodate all with room to spare for guests. I have stayed in Villas in the Virgin Islands and I loved them. But what separates Villa Oceana from the Villas in St John is the private beach directly in front. Step out the the door and onto the sugary sand. Walk about forty paces into the gorgeous, crystal clear water. Watch the sun set over Sapodilla Bay, and just take it all in. You will be so glad you did.

Fantastic home for an unforgettable vacation.

My friends and I just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful home. The beach and ocean were just a few yards from my bedroom and the pool was a few feet from the living room. It is a place where you can relax on the beach and swim in the clear turquoise water. There are no waves and the water is shallow which was great for swimming, relaxing and kayaking-a great location for families with children too. We loved eating meals including breakfast out on the porch facing the ocean. The home is very spacious inside with lots of windows to look out at the ocean and the beautiful flowers in the garden. The photos don't do it justice!! Everything was very clean, well maintained and thoughtfully decorated. The best part was that the house was very well equipped so we could enjoy our vacation without having to buy a lot of extras. The house manager and her crew were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The owners responded quickly to our questions before we made our trip. I thank you all for making our trip something none of us will ever forget. We can't wait to go back!

Villa Oceana is an absolute jewel! The house is wonderfully appointed with everything you could hope for to feel right at home... and all with an incredibly beautiful soft sandy beach (no shells or rocks or "critters" to worry about stepping on!) just a few steps away. Every view is breath-taking and although there are other homes on the beach, the lush vegetation provides perfect privacy. The pool that runs the length of the west side of the house is magnificent and even has a seating area with Jacuzzi jets. The owners offer the use of their two 2-man kayaks for use on Sapodilla Bay, or you could paddle a short way to the access path to Chalk Pond with its iridescent turquoise water if you'd like an alternate place to explore. Their house manager was over-the-top accommodating to satisfy any need or answer any question we had. We had initially considered staying on Grace Bay but are so glad we decided to stay on the south side of the island: the water is calmer and the sunsets are amazing. We did rent a car for the week, which gave us lots of flexibility to visit other parts of the island. We would definitely recommend Villa Oceana to our friends and hope to have an opportunity to come back for another visit in the not too distant future.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Oceana. We stayed there for 10 days and actually were married on the beach and had our wedding party right at the home. It was a beautiful setting with the colors of the water, pristine beach and private location. The pictures taken right before sunset were incredible. We had great food and music. The bonfire on the beach just added to the ambience. Of course being able to throw your friends in the pool after dark just added to the fun. Words cannot describe how perfect the setting was for a wedding. We would recommend Villa Oceana to anyone who was vacationing for a romantic getaway, taking a family vacation with children or just wanting to hang out with friends. The house is beautiful with great amenities and all the things one needs to just relax, unwind and enjoy the sun. There are plenty of outdoor activities including kayaking and jet skis. There is a lot of privacy. The beach feels like it is your own private playground. We look forward to staying at Villa Oceana again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Oceana with 2 other couples. This house has everything you would want! The home is well appointed and very comfortable. The beds, furniture, linens,etc..... were great! Not only is the oceanfront location fabulous, the sand is powdery and the water spectacular. We had a wonderful time kayaking ( compliments of the villa ) and especially enjoyed lounging on the hammock. The pool was also fantastic. We enjoyed having our cocktails poolside! It is also a great pool for kids. This home is like having your home away from home except that you are in the Caribbean! We highly recommend this house to couples and families alike!

Something Special on Sapodilla Bay

We didn't stay long - but we long to return! This place was really special. The house is kept to perfection, for those used to quality accommodations. Slip into the pool or walk a little further down and do the ocean thing - awesome snorkeling - safe enough for kids - while still adventurous! Very nice owners who seem to care that you enjoy your stay.

This was our 3rd time at the Villa this year and every time gets better and better. Perfectly cleaned and manicured house is the first aspect of Villa Oceana that we really count on, and no let downs here. Some phenomenal restaurants and awesome spots to grab a drink are never far away, just make friends with the other people at dinner to find out where they are! The only thing we'll do differently next time is invite an extra couple!

I spent a week at this house and it was great! The house is very clean and the private beach is wonderful. It was so nice to walk from the house down to the beach and hang out with with our family. When you want a change the pool is a great option or just hang out under one of the cabanas and sip a cold cocktail.
